We have decided to create a blog to keep our customers up to date on the events and attractions in Julian and the improvements to our house in the hills.
Julian is the perfect place to get away for the weekend and enjoy the country.
At Oak Grove family travel is our number one concern that's why you will find everything you need for traveling with children from diaper pails and porta-cribs to toys and videos.
We are currently working on creating a dedicated craft room in what was formerly the work area. This special location will be available for group retreats and will feature daylight-true lighting. Please check back with our blog for updates on this.
AUGUST
Julian will be featuring a small number of events in August including the Black Historical Society, Julian Delta Blues Festival in the Town Hall.
August 31-Sept 3 is the Fall Fine Arts Show also in the Town Hall.
SEPTEMBER
Sept 1: GRAPE STOMP!
Don't miss the Julian Grape Stomp Festa on Sept 1st! It is lots of funs for kids and adults and features a wide array of wine-tasting, local vendors, live band, plenty of food, and fun stuff for kids. Of course there is the main attraction of stomping on grapes---YES you really do stomp on grapes in an old barrel. You get to hose off afterwards so bring a beach towel. There is always an appearance by Lucy and Ethel along with a little brawl. This event takes place at Menghini Winery.
